"Old New Year" and beauty of winter Moscow

Я живу в Москве. И.. если честно, обычно москвичи не очень-то замечают красоту и магию этого города. Как и все в этом мире, Москва далека от идеала, но мне бы очень хотелось поделиться ее новогодними чудесами. Я хочу показать, какой прекрасной она бывает. А почему именно сегодня? Да потому что сегодня Старый Новый Год! А значит, наступает конец всем новогодним убранствам и наряженным елочкам. Последний шанс ощутить дух праздника!
А начать я хочу с душевного видео, в которое невозможно не влюбиться. В нем столько света и огоньков, что просто голова кругом! Мне кажется, я готова его пересматривать всю зиму напролет за чашечкой горячего чая или какао - в нем все кусочки Нового Года!

I live in capital of Russia - Moscow. And.. to be honest, people in my city usually pass by all the beauty and magic of it. As everything in this world, my city is far from being ideal but I want to share some winter and Christmas/New Year wonders of Moscow. I want to show you how beautiful it can be. Why today? Because today we celebrate fun-holiday called "Old New Year". This day means the end of all pretty decoration and Christmas trees. The last chance to catch the holiday spirit!
And I want to start with a beautiful video. It's impossible not to fall in love with it. It's full of light and lights - breathtaking! It seems to me that I can watch it again and again every winter day with a cup of hot tea or cocoa. This video collected all the parts of New Year!

А теперь перейдем к фотографиям прекрасной зимней Москвы. Эти фотографии от моих друзей: Жанны и Олега, с которыми меня свела моя визажистская деятельность, когда мы встречали вместе яркую весну. Они женаты и их фамилия - Тепловы. Мне кажется, что она безумно точно описывает и их самих как людей, и их работу и творчество. Когда я смотрю на фотографии, "теплые" - это как раз то,что про них хочется сказать первым делом. Вот такая у них получилась теплая зима:

And now let's go to photos of beautiful winter Moscow. These photos were made by my friends: Zhanna and Oleg. We got acquainted when I worked with them as make-up artist and we saluted bright spring together. They are married and their family name is Teplovy. This word means "warm" and I suppose it describes them as people and their work and art the best way. When I see their photos the firth word that comes to mind if "warm". Look, they show us warm winter:

А эти фотографии от Елизаветы Задорожной. Это кусочки новогоднего сердца Москвы - Красной Площади. Здесь царствует русский дух - тут вам и матрешки, и леденцы-петушки, и платки, и шапки. Меня гипнотизируют фотографии с множеством матрешек. Такие пестрые кадры! Красота!

And these photos are from Elizaveta Zadoroznaya. Little pieces of the heart of winter Moscow - Red Square. Russian spirit is everywhere - you can find matryoshkas, traditional Russian lollipops, shawls, Russian hats ("ushanka"). I'm hypnotized by photos with lots of matryoshkas. So bright! Beautiful!

А это просто какое-то безумство огоньков от Кристины Макеевой! В Москве их в этом году настолько много, что кажется, будто весь город - это одна сплошная новогодняя гирлянда. Больше света!)

Christmas lights madness from Christina Makeeva! This year Moscow is full of lights. The city looks like it is made of lights. Turn the lights on!)

И для тех, кто умудрился дожить до конца этого длиннющего зимнего поста, немного фотографий и от меня самой. Потому что этой зимой Москва меня просто пленяет своей красотой. На плакатах города написано: "Лучший город зимы". Я абсолютно согласна!

And for all who's still there (I know, this post's looong) I caried some my own photos. Because this winter I'm in a trap of Moscow beauty. City billboards say: "The best city of winter". And I totally agree!
